Now it is time for the members of the university community to show UGA donors and friends that we, too, support the Archway to Excellence goals of Building the New Learning Environment, Maximizing Research Opportunities, and Competing in a Global Economy.

Ways to Give
What is the purpose of the campus Archway to Excellence Campaign?
It is an opportunity for the UGA campus community to support the comprehensive Archway to Excellence campaign. Developed from the 2000-2010 Strategic Plan, the campaign goals are blended into three themes.

  • Building the New Learning Environment
  • Maximizing Research Opportunities
  • Competing in a Global Economy
Who will be invited to participate?
All University faculty, staff and retired employees will receive an invitation to participate in the campaign.

When will the campaign take place?
This special campaign will begin with a campus kickoff event on March 21, 2006 and will culminate with the end of the fiscal year, June 30, 2006.

How will the University community be asked to participate?

All employees will receive a brochure and letter from a faculty or staff volunteer who will encourage their support of the Archway to Excellence campaign. Current donors will be given an opportunity to consider an additional special gift.

Are there limitations on how much and where I give?
Gifts of all sizes may be directed to any academic area at UGA.
