Building the New Learning Environment

  • Complete the renovation of Candler Hall with new, high-tech classrooms and seminar rooms.
  • Modernize all SPIA classrooms with wireless technology and image-projection capabilities.
  • Fully equip our computer laboratories in Candler and Baldwin Halls.

Maximizing Research Opportunities

  • Recruit and retain top faculty.
  • Enhance research opportunities for graduate students through endowed graduate fellowship funds
  • Endow a SPIA Public Policy Forum to bring national and international scholars and public servants to campus

Competing in the Global Economy

  • Provide support for needy students for study abroad experiences.
  • Enhance student advising programs to facilitate career planning.
  • Increase support for the global outreach efforts of SPIA research centers.
